Gian had visions of proposals around the world, as Kat had painted a picture of a "wedding by the ocean, over a cliff". Covid narrowed that list down. Gian tricked Kat into ring shopping some months before, but Kat got the upperhand by falling in love with a particular ring that very day. They took a road trip, where they ended up out East in Nova Scotia and drove the Cabot Trail. Having the Green Cove trail all to themselves, Gian took a knee and surprised Kat with "the ruby"! She said, "if I have to" and the rest is history.
